Poet, spill the ink of your heart on the paper
Do not let it spoil today and forever
Write it like it is, with ease
Say it loudly, gently, please.
Writer, pour your heart out on the parchment
Do not leave a comma, a period, with the intent
Of adding more ingredient
Be firm, rambunctious, and adamant.
My friends, walk away from everything
To express yourselves. If you must sing
Do what you have to do and let ring
The bells freely, in order to end like a bang.
Poet, lead the crowd, the chorus
Take the torch and get on the white horse
The world needs you. Be another Jesus
Another martyr, another mystical source.
Dead people do not speak, dead people do not eat
Be active, reasonable, just, and combative. Do not sit
Waiting for something or someone that will never come
Fight for freedom of speech and you shall overcome.
