Symphony Of Stars... Poem by DEEP DARK SOUL POET

Through a symphony of stars my eyes do search
Looking for the one twinkling high up in it's perch
Wishing on the morning star for something I miss
Hoping for one to come along and kiss

Years have passed and my lips are parched
Lonely in the woods I cannot see the trees
Knowing there is one to make me weak at the knees
Time fleets by so come find me please

Flying through the clouds my mind does wander
Sinking in the mud and sometimes I ponder
How did it get to be so long without?
Maybe I spent far too long in doubt

Burning flesh I hide my desires within
Just sweet pleasure no desires of sin
Placid times and hearts aflame
Love has been lost to me it has no name

A cacophony of stars light up the sky
And all alone under them stands I
Music blasting within my head
But not a sound is heard, am I dead?

Twinkling so far away from me
The darkness between them is all I see
The moon shines for all lovers around
I am here again with no one to be found...
