Taking Thoughts By The Hand Poem by RoseAnn V. Shawiak

Taking Thoughts By The Hand

Silently listening to rhythms playing mind and intellect
like a piano or guitar, sincerely loving the colors of
sounds as they burst within this mind.

Touching upon an interior spiritual life as it awakens
from a deep sleep, taking thoughts by the hand as they
fall into a pool below an interior waterfall.

Floating upon the surface, wanting to be written and ex-
pressed in lines of poetry, hoping they will be sent out
to the world.

Greeting every nationality with a smile that reverberates
in the minds of many strangers that instantly become
friends with this mere poet.
