Taylor Poem by Randy McClave

Taylor

Taylor, please be a good girl
Remember, you are your dad's pearl,
Please watch what you do and say
Today, and everyday.
Please, do not ever smoke or drink
It takes the soul to the lowest brink,
And if you are sad and depressed
Don't ever be worried and stressed.
Remember, you also have Grace
So, wear a smile upon your young face,
Stay away from sin and all the bad deeds
That is where temptation eventually leads.
Every tear that you have wept
Are from happy memories that you had kept
Remember, always be a good Lass
Don't ever be disrespectful or sass.
Though sadly your father is gone
You still must move forward and continue on,
Whenever you feel that push in the air
Remember, your father is still there.
