Tears Falling Down Poem by beautiful imperfection

Tears Falling Down

Tears falling down
A broken heart bleeds.
Once again he wasn’t the one
To fulfill her needs.
He lead her on
Like it was just a game,
He didn’t think of her,
It’s all the same.
Trust is hard,
It’s always been.
He didn’t help her,
It happened again.
He told her she meant something,
She believed his lies,
And now I’m the one
Hating the pain in her eyes.
I’m the one who’s in the dark,
I just can’t understand,
Why she would let him back in,
And get buried in the sand.
She waited for so long
Only to be let down,
How can she look at him
With a smile, not a frown?

Tears falling down
My broken heart bleeds.
I wish I could be the one
To wash away his dirty deeds.
I wish I could do something
To hide the pain in her eyes,
I wish I knew a way
To erase his lies.
But I guess she doesn’t need me,
She can handle this on her own,
I don’t know what to do,
The seed’s already been sown.
It’s now up to her,
What to do,
I just wish there was a way
To turn her gray skies blue.
But I guess I’ll just bow out gracefully,
I guess it’s just too late,
Hopefully someday she’ll realize
It’s better just to wait.
