Tender Rhythms Softly Proposing To Nature Poem by RoseAnn V. Shawiak

Tender Rhythms Softly Proposing To Nature

A tender rhythm sliding down to the banks of a river,
softly proposing to nature, wanting to settle down in
beauty of a forest walking to this forest's edge.

Watching as it flows symmetrically towards the ocean's
wide open mouth, blending with its salty tasting breath
and traveling along for years

A gentle reflection of being, hoping it will never end in
our lifetime, music calling to this mere poet faraway from
home, taking it onto photographic screens within, making its
memories a permanent part forever.
