Terrapins And Politicians

Turtles atop fence posts
Is another name for politicians
Who seem at the very most
Not able to handle the spot they're in

They shouldn't be
Where they are you see
Like turtles they're as dumb
As a bag full of tea

So if you should see
One or the other (turtle or politician)
Be higher than they should be
Pick them up, then put them down
Back on the ground
