That Someone... Poem by Asma Khan

That Someone...

I count the hours, the colors of the rays
how many times, I tell you in different ways

I miss your presence, I miss your gaze
I keep wandering around in this daze

The very you, I want to embrace
nothing better can be called a craze

Your eyes have the power that blaze
like the fresh color of summer maize

How I wonder just in a few days
you captured my demon's hayes

Nothing much I want to hear, nor anyone says
Every breathe counts and weighs

Blessed is your presence and praise
whoever looks at you is left in a amaze

You are one in a million displays
The sun is yours, so are the stars in your chase

Happiness at your doorstep lays
Luck shines upon you with no delays

With you eve in Blues, everything pays
nature answers all your prays
