The Color Of The Night Poem by Hebert Logerie

The Color Of The Night

I'm as dark as the beautiful summer night,
And as clean as, and as cool as a whistle.
The Queen loves me at the first sight,
That makes me not small, and not little.

My queen is chic, stylish and lovely.
Many wastrels want to challenge me.
They want to be me. They all envy me.
I'm blessed to have her. I'm very lucky.

She is as radiant as a moonlit night.
She is my four seasons, my starlet.
What a contrast! What a difference!
A dyadic state which makes sense.

I am as dark as the refined black charcoal
That the poor peasants use daily to grill
Their fish.I am like the waterproof pole,
That fears no wind, no evil, and no devil.

I know that the sizzling heat of the sun
Can arouse the follicles on my skin.
I am a brave fighter. I fear no villain,
No hypocrite who worships the moon.

I am an unambiguous pristine color.
Oh! Heck no, that's not a horror,
On the contrary, that's an honor,
To be dark, and be full of candor.

I do not worry about the losers' opinions,
Because they're slanderous, and invidious.
They don't know better. They're jealous,
Because they're weak and have no bones.

I am as dark as the alluring autumnal night.
I'm the last color that the blind and the dead see,
Before crossing the path where there's no light.
Yes, I am as sharp as the shark in the deep sea.

Darkness is gracefully controversial, and wonderful.
We sleep under that gorgeous shroud every night.
Darkness makes us effervescent, strong and bright.
After a good resting night, don't we feel plentiful?

Do not elevate your hands, if I am not right.
If you think I'm wrong, don't go to bed tonight.
Stay up, stay awake, and keep away all dreams,
So you can read many of my exquisite poems.
