The Dawning Poem by Walterrean Salley

The Dawning

A zenith in the sky,
With a far-flung halo, and
An island of glory about.
Large enough
To fill the eastern sky.
Yet small enough to be seen
Through a window.
Dawn rolls on—
Yielding and revealing,
Until a perfect day is born.
