The Flowers Of Heaven Poem by Jean Penner

The Flowers Of Heaven

The flowers in Heaven are blooming,
Their love encircles the door,
For the gateway to Easter is open,
-Someone has been there before!

Someone has walked through the garden,
The strength of the silence I hear,
The rose, as it opens its petals,
Whispers for me to come near.

Someone has been to the garden,
The red on the roses is new,
The painting of love on the petals,
In the sunlight, sparkles like dew.

Someone gave life to the garden,
The presence I feel as I pray,
The roses once standing in darkness
In light, are now blooming all day.

The flowers in Heaven are blooming,
Their love encircles the door,
The gateway to Easter is open,
-Someone has been there before!
