The House Poem by Vera Sidhwa

The House

Rating: 5.0

The House

This house has people in it
That are loving and kind.
The next house has people in it
That are rude and angry.

I began to think
They should see each other
And learn from each other.
But ah there was the privacy.

There was no window,
A witness to see
What was really happening,
To us and me.

I realized the non-peace
Will go on and on.
It will only get stronger and strong.
There is no window.

When you don't interact with people sometimes misunderstanding crops up. Very nice. Liked it.

I agree with you when you insist that windows are necessary for us in life. Through windows we can watch the positive side of others' lives. This would benefit us mutually. We can bring about change in our attitude towards betterment. Thanks.
