The human fail? ...

I believe that we all humans
are meant to share our love
with everybody and everything.
The love for own family,
friends, territory,
is done naturally
by all species on Earth,
nothing special for a being
to have such a great pride.
When we will be able
to hold unconditionally
the entire world
in one heart than we can say:
'- Here I am!
To be Human,
I'm very proud! '

(Looking forward to that day,
for now I still have plenty
to be ashamed of being what I am...)

Poet's Notes about The Poem

A few thoughts asked to be put on paper inspired by few lines of our poet Khairul Ahsan:
'A poet's heart cannot be possessed
By a single soul mate entwined or not,
For a poet's heart is free to wander'

Unconditional love for entire humanity is truly an admirable yearning but unfortunately it seems unattainable else the world would not have been what it is despite the teachings of lord Buddha, Jain Mahavira, Christ And many other great preachers. Yet we all yearn for that genuinely. It is a matter of shame for entire humanity which professes to be civilized. (Report) Reply

very well written about universal love. Until we reach there, we can never be happy. You can read my ONE WORLD WITH ONE RACE. (Report) Reply

Thanks, Elena, for this wonderful message of universal love.

Your vision transcends all boundaries, imaginary as well as real, just like that of a true poet. Only poets can 'hold unconditionally the entire world in one heart'.
My heartfelt thanks for the honor you have given me by mentioning me in your note. (Report) Reply

There is grief in the sound, there is guilt in the fame;
But the tear that now burns on my cheek may impart
