The Key Poem by Chelsea Palma

The Key

There is a key, only one key
It has the power to set me free
It has the power to heal my wounds
It will Only appear every few moons

This key is small and round
It brings a smile to my face when I frown
It has blue and red writings with wings
And can make feel as if I was a puppet on a string

So if you find this key beware
For it will ruin your life, I swear
You're not safe. Don't try to run, Don't try to hide
Because I can't always be by your side

I love how this poem has this mysterious feel on it, as if it could be a story. I especially loved the last stanza
