The Light Goes Around Poem by Peter S. Quinn

The Light Goes Around

The light goes around
to the nowhere,
everywhere gleam's found
it comes here and there.

You are just like this
a flame on fire,
burning up a life bliss
in each your desire.

Night that comes here
with its many ways,
when dreams are everywhere
in their blushing grays.

The shadows dancing on
flowers of the night,
till the moon is gone
and again it's bright.

The light goes around
makes a turn going through,
to its mystery it's bound
as it goes and comes new.

Torches time going by
full of flickering flame,
moments that come and die
never to be the same.
