The Loner Poem by Timothy Long

The Loner

They never check on you, just your own shadow comforts at night, I wish I was with you, I don't belong there, music expresses your soul, I wish I was special, to be a winner, strive to be perfect, but it's gone now, to be judged by all and remain close to few, the only one who tries and tries to is what they all wanted me to be, it seems misery is my right hand man, you can do better than me, only I remain, you tried before but I let you go, do you really want to hurt me this much, no closure even in the end, the shadows surround us to even where the sun cannot reach, do your best in the better, why does it have to be rude, I'm human to, no matter what you say, cause the sun is shining today, the time is gone, the times with you I can't forget, is this the end, just alone the loner has to go. By the way you still never said goodbye.
