The One Poem by somebody else

The One

Rating: 5.0

Patience makes perfect, of this I agree,
but the heart for love, does always plea.
So for that perfect someone, do we yearn,
and in the search, hard lessons we learn.
For that soul mates picture, is not clear,
and missing the chance, does cause fear.
But not just to anyone, could I commit.
so mistakes have been made, this I admit.
For my only chance, I didn't want to lose,
and from much beauty, was there to choose.
Though I loved them all, with an adoring eye,
it was for another, that my heart did cry.
And I do regret now, that I did not wait,
for destiny will lead me, to the perfect mate.
Real love's a magnet, of the strongest kind,
so with patience, true love I'll find.
And well worth the wait, I know she'll be,
fulfilling the love, to span eternity.
