The Raven's Look Poem by Cristian Carcu

The Raven's Look

"The woman looked at me like a raven"
I told myself when naked
Lying in my nightly haven.

"Who will tell you at the end
If it is the white or black
That makes your heart to bow and bend? "

A drop of rain fall gently in my eye,
And made my soul to drown like a butterfly.

"The woman looked at me like a raven".
He was standing on a stonely pillar.
The winds of light were playing with it's feather's collar.

My soul kept drowning in the other worldly side.
And, in that moment inbetween the light and dark,
I could see that underneath the black
There's always white.

"The raven looked at me like a woman
Who, with immeasurably love, eventually will open
The hidden rainbow that flows inside
The Dark and Light."
