The Red Fish Poem by mohammad ahmadizadeh

The Red Fish

O yes
I remember you now
It was a sunny summer day
You were sitting poolside in the yard
Kneeling at pool edge waving hand in the water
Thinking your usual dream in mind catching the red fish
But the red fish was mocking with you and your dream
Touching your little fingers going into your hand
But slipping at once and swimming away
Then your mother called you
Come on boy it is time
To go to school
Then the red fish
Swam deep in the pool
Getting lost underwater
While you went further away
Looking for new pool getting in deeper
Catching bigger and darker one a deep red fish
You followed days and night then come to me finish
Now look at me carefully my old friend
I'm that the red fish you look for
Big one and darker
Lost in deeper
