You don't want see my face
For the mistakes I made
Now you want to make me cry
Or want to see me dead
I heard something very bad
About your character
I didn't want to believe it
But it made me suffer
Someone used to say those things
It was so convincing
And you were like deaf and dumb
You weren't protesting
Baby it was not my fault
I can swear upon God
Since it was so insulting
Please beat me with a rod
But forget it forgive me
You can make it okay
I won't make you cry again
Please believe what I say
You sounded like those things you pointed out are really rumours, and you were trying to convince her not to focus on them. All in all, it is a good and well-written poem, and a delighful read.
This is what I call a sober poem, really good and forgivable. I wish u are forgiven, Asif.
simple but splendid....this piece is full of emotions and brilliantly written indeed, thank you for sharing love payal
I liked this piece expresses what i call whispers in the wind, words linger, captures the ear in a different context, nicely written
