The Side Show
By: Taylor Donnelly

I was the side show and you were the girl

The one that caught fire to air as you'd twirl

And we were the most beautiful pair

With no one to tell us if we should care

The strongest of us with brightest of eyes

The strange and mystical way you were so wise

You're beautiful but not in a way that was wistful

In our lives you were the most trustful

I was the side show but you were the boy

The one who made every moment such a joy

And we were the most beautiful pair

With no one to tell us if we should care

The one who showed me painfully how to dance

The one that could melt me with one single glance

You're so handsome but not in a way that was frightful

In our lives you were the most delightful

I was the sideshow and you were circus

You made it so damn hard to focus

And we were the most beautiful pair

With no one to tell us if we should care

The nights were so hot but you were so sweet

The music i heard most was your heart beat

You're my best friend but not in a way that was dreadful

In our lives you were the most wedful
