The Summer Poem by Julius Lenaiyarra

The Summer

Rating: 5.0

The gloom of winter in a slow fade
Turns its arms to spring
Something new to cling
And so the new to bring
To life turns everything
The daffodils sprout
And the buttercups flower
Their lustrous yellow flowers
Bouncing in the bright summer.
