The Vampyr Lilith

You made me
And every time
The burning sun hits
My eyes I am cursed
With the traits of Lilith

Bound to the darkness
Like the demoness
I will proffer my 100 children
to the Goddess
With the traits of Lilith

The teeth of the Lamiae
Are settled in my mouth
Primitive and animalistic
Is my personality
With the traits of Lilith

Poem of the Day

poet Paul Laurence Dunbar

The mist has left the greening plain,
