The World Inherited Poem by Randy McClave

The World Inherited

Rating: 5.0

They say that the world will be inherited by the meek
So, decency and kindness and peace many will seek,
We now hear of bigotry and wealth by our elitist leaders
Then from the swamps, they beckon the bottom feeders,
While our leaders are screaming with a different plan
As dollar bills and wealth have replaced the beliefs of man,
We will be known as the ignorant, the used and the seedy
When the world is destroyed, by the stupid and the greedy.

Greed is the potion that I stay away from, life is to short to use and hurt others for the love of possessions. Thank you for your comment and for reading my poem. Randy
