There Was A Town Here

Rating: 5.0

There was a city here
Millions of people once flew lanterns in this city.
There was also a river, there was life in the river
Buriganga, Heavy sweet name!
They did not let the sweet river live
He was stabbed to death.
The city was no longer a city
A gloomy town without birds, without trees, without clean air
There were big books in the city
There were great laws in that book
There was parliament, there was city mayor, there were enlightened people
But the law of the book was covered in that book.
In this city, turtles competed with cars
The parks were garbage dumps
Lake water is like abandoned oil!
There were brick walls on top of the bricks
In the civic disadvantaged people were chirping like beetles!
The people of this city went to war against nature
Nature once took ruthless revenge like Somalian pirates!
Then: It was written in this city
Pompeii, Mahenjodaro Harappa's
Destruction was imposed on the Lot of that nation!
