Thinking Thoughts Sparkling Poem by RoseAnn V. Shawiak

Thinking Thoughts Sparkling

Thinking thoughts as they sparkle and come alive in
rhythms of desire, always backing away from reliving
any particle of passion.

No longer needing or wanting to put this heart out in
the open, preferring to keep it upon a dusty shelf
that never gets visited nowadays.

Loneliness has now covered it with disuse, hiding in
the darkness of many shadows that never want to be
seen in the light of day, walking away into another
dimension.
