This Land Is Ours Poem by Cynthia Buhain-baello

This land, richly blessed with beauty
Can make one stand breathless,
But now it's threatened arrogantly
By minions of greed and evil forces.

We stand unafraid to shed our blood,
Against all who'll take our breath away.
Defend our nation, the great freedom we have
No ideology can take it or here stay.

Evil thrives when men bow down,
To the forces that dilute, distort truth.
We fail to keep the precious land we own
If we allow Evil to come and take root.
