Three Fish And A Chance a Found Poem For Children Poem by Indira Renganathan

Three Fish And A Chance a Found Poem For Children

Three fish in a pond were very thick with each other
Despite their different characters by nature

The first fish was smart, the second knew to dodge trouble
And the third was adamant and against any change at all

One day some fishermen were planning for a good catch next day
Overhearing that the first fish alerted his friends to run away

But a different way per his ilk the second fish thought
He said, 'I will stay here and find a way out even if I'm caught.'

The third one, as was his wont, disliked leaving his place of birth
He said 'I will remain here even if I have to get caught'

Next day the first fish cleverly moved out without delay
And the fishermen caught the other two fish swiftly their way

Pretending to be dead the second one cleverly escaped
Third fish got caught in the fishermen's net and died

Changes are permanent, sometimes risky too for adaptation
So one should always be ready minded for any like above situation
