Tomorrow Is Getting Better Poem by Marilyn White

Tomorrow Is Getting Better

Tomorrow it will better
That is what I keep thinking
I don’t think it is going to be that way
But to marvel of all those things
And if it could be that way
What a place we would live in
How would we sense all of those things?
In such the spec of time we have to live
To make our impression on the world last
Enough so that many generations will know
What we where like instead of a time capsule
They could see everything there was to see
To get know us like family not just stones
Why do I want thing to get better
I don’t for the superior of the whole
Maybe there would be so much of what we have now
The peace we seek we will not get
The hope we desperately need we pass on
So tomorrow will never be as good
As it was today or yesterday
Today’s tomorrow is only yesterday
