Trust In Pieces

You had something of mine
Thick
But fragile as glass
A rarity
As it has been broken in the past
Remember
You had told me that it would never happen with you
But it seems you have told me many things that weren't true
And so it lays in bits and pieces
Scattered and torn apart
Pieces of my trust
That was once the key to my heart.

I'd rather call him "Star."
