Chapters

Time slowly goes by
The sun has chased the moon from the sky and still I
Lie here
Waiting for the impossible
Keeping my hope
Cause I cannot cope with the thought of
Never
See I wanted us to be a forever
A happy ever after
Wanted you to be my whole story
Not only a chapter
So I keep reading on
Looking for you
But the pages are white
My future is blank
Not a letter in sight
I'm left to wonder what will happen next
What my pages will read
And hope that somewhere in my story you play the second lead
Only missing in a few chapters

Poem of the Day

poet Robert Frost

Some say the world will end in fire,

I hold with those who favor fire.
