Truths And Facts Poem by Amudipe Opeyemi Marcus

Truths And Facts

Rating: 4.5

Ssshhhhhh! ! !
Listen I hear a story
Shhhhhh! ! ! !
I caught some tales

Give me your ears folks
From the heart of the market
I hear my kinsmen say
Words! ! ! Tales! ! ! Sigh

An elephant for six blind fellas
A touch required of 'em all
Touch and tell! ! ! The master yelled
A feel of the giant, no Herculean task at all

Six blind men with six rainbows of answers
A wall I touched, mustered one
Rope it's, No another yelled, A tree I touched
Nd there ensued a pot of troubles

Who will bell the cats I asked,
When our fists takes to open air to speak
Who will find the missing clue
When a thin line separates facts from truth.
