Turn Your Life Around Poem by Ray James

Turn Your Life Around

Yes, wild horses
Keep dragging me away.
But maybe, just maybe
I can turn my life around someday.

Wild horses can be a dream come true.
Just because their wild and crazy,
Doesn't mean I don't have the blues for you.
Doesn't mean I can't come see you.

So when you feel down and out,
Just turn your life around.
Just like that wild horse in my life,
I'll turn my life around and find,
My best calf roping horse in my life.

Just like that future Rodeo Queen in my life,
I'll turn my life around and find,
My dearest in life.
And we took a glance at each other,

We smiled, we'd laugh,
We giggled one last time.
We vowed to be husband and wife.
And we had one heck of a win Rodeo Night!

So when your down and out,
Turn around.
And take a look at your life.
Give your wife all you got…

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
The rodeo grounds is one of our true loves. Wild horses maybe a thing of the past. But we must let our Wife or future Rodeo Queen have a say so in our life as we laugh and giggle and have fun. Remember the Cheyenne Frontier Days where they have the Rodeo Wild Horse Races each year. Wyoming is the home of about 6,000 horses.
