Twelve Satyrs Poem by Emmanuel George Cefai

Twelve Satyrs

Twelve!
Those
Were
The
Satyrs
That
In
Rural
Wayside
Beamed
Wide
Leapt
High
Giggled
Though
In
Their
Background
Dawn
Smiled
Anon
A
Peasant
With
Giant
Hoe
He
Saw
Them
But
They
Quick
Eleven
Leapt
Into
The
Woods
Aside
The
Twelfth
Lay
Hapless
Before
The
Peasant's
Hoe:
Down
Skipped
Jumped
The
satyr
as
kangaroo
and
more
high
The
Hoe
Went
Right
into
A
Foot
Of
Peasant
Scream!
Awhile
The
Satyr
Frightened
To
Safe
Woods
And
Trees
Fast
Turned
Around.
