Understanding Each Other Poem by Sandra Feldman

Understanding Each Other

Poets well co-exist
Most of the time,
They exchange lists,
Of thoughts and feelings,
That converge,
And make them
Slightly less absurd.
But what poets understand, the best,
Are the elements that come together,
To feather, other poet's nests.

I think nobody understands other poets better than you do, Sandra, and you have expressed it very well here. Great poem.

I think we cherry-pick, sometimes consciously, sometimes otherwise. Hopefully, when we do or are writing under the influence(; -) we still apply our own individual voices.
