Unearth Rough Diamond Poem by Terence George Craddock (Spectral Images and Images Of Light)

Unearth Rough Diamond

Rating: 5.0

Sight rough diamond
still dirt embedded
in clinging dust debris
of parent prison earth.

Chance salient rays
of probe light shining
show carrot promise
lying locked therein.

When prominent washed
diamond is grasped held
in affirmed gem revealing
white introspective light.

But rough diamond
while fate unearthed
was never cut hidden
missing morning light.

Predetermined
a jeweled
alluring
counterpoise.

Set off twist filigree golden
as amulet eye orb disc light
commanding introspection
a sphere of enlightenment.

Diamond in the rough
awaits future incarnations.
