Until The Very End Poem by Colin Coplin

Until The Very End

Rating: 4.0

Take the high road, scale your mountain
One step closer to the stars
The air is sometimes thin
While the road is often hard
But the view is unbelievable
Like nothing you've ever seen
I'll walk each step with you my love
Until the very end
And if need be, remember, I am there to lend a hand

Some days will be lonely, and cruel harsh winds may blow
Some days you will stop and stall, torment, doubt will flow
On these days look up at the stars and see the only thing greater than yourself
And if need be, remember, I am there to lend a hand

Take the low road on your journey
Through the fields and over streams
Sometimes you'll walk round in circles
Sometimes wander barren lands
But the reward will be unbelievable
Like nothing you've ever seen
I'll walk each step with you my love
Until the very end
And if need be, remember, I will lend a hand

Some days will be lonely, like old man river you may flow
Some days you will stop and stall, meander, bob and roll
On these days look up at the stars and see the only thing greater than yourself
And if need be, remember, I am there to lend a hand

Take the fast lane on your highway
Take your chances where you may
Some say the trip foolhardy
Others will say you are naive
But the ride is unbelievable
Like nowhere you've ever been
I'll share this ride with you my love
Until the very end
And if need be, remember, I will lend a hand

Some days will be lonely, delays may deviate and traffic slow
Some days you will stop and stall, frustration will ebb and flow
On these days look up at the stars and see the only thing greater than yourself
And if need be, remember, I am there to lend a hand
