Untitled
She likes to string words together like a necklace,
inserting a pretty adjective or two in between.
She likes to grab a pen and write,
and write and write,
until the entire page is filled
with scribbles that are supposed to have meaning.
But her emotions
don't need to be overcomplicated
by fancy words and beautiful ideas.
Sad, is merely, sad,
just as happy, is merely, happy.
