Leaving me home alone
Gone to fight for our rights
Promises fill your eyes
Wish to win the fight...
At the dawn of day
Sun spreads its light
Draw smiles from your lips
waiting for tomorrow's prize...
As the day breaks, promises born
From every heart of liars
Hide the truths once more
Eyes can't see...ears can't hear
Mouths can't speak...let the truths be kept...
You lay in the ocean
Return back no more
You walk in the path of plenty white gold
Evidences…kept in trash
Accessories…vanished in blast
Let them flow in the sea of hatred
Forgiveness will never be kept in my heart...
I like this poem - especially the last line. It has a lot of depth. Fighting for freedom is one thing, fighting to avenge quite another. Leonard
Super expression. I liked it very much. Its really poetic. Keep on writing.
A very expressive write, good flow and tells a story, 10 Lynda xx
Reality has a violence of its own which assaults us and we must figure out how to cope with it. Hopefully, you have found a satisfactory answer with your acceptance “vengeance will never be kept in my heart”. It would be helpful if we could forget and forgive, but forgetting is not something our bodies let us always do. It tends to have ways of reminding us of the unchangeable past. Maybe what you do will help others do the same.
Vengeance or freedom. Barriers only visible on the outside... choose.
a firm resolve in a tight situation. beautifull and magnanimus. 'let them flow in the sea of hatred vengeance will never be kept in my heart... ' says it all voted10 surya
