Waiting For Spring Poem by Peter S. Quinn

Waiting For Spring

Waiting for spring
The colors of love
When birds do sing
And the sun shines above

When life is perfect
In its circling dance
After winter ‘s neglect
In coldness trance

Life is to rise awake
In effect and style
dreams reality make
In all its beguile

For life ‘s cycling on
Into days of pleasure
frosty roses have gone
for summer leisure's

Waiting for spring
And the new summer sky
Moments fresh bring
As the hours go by

Nothing is perfect
In its petite while
It's for life to select
From its budding pile
