Warmth, Oh How I Miss You So Poem by James Darwin Smith II

Warmth, Oh How I Miss You So

Days getting shorter
Eyes losing touch
The light being missed
Warmness, Voided
In the falling season
Nature cries for the sun

I am at one
For the sun that once was
Many days away
Staying strong
Dreaming dreams of the future
When I can walk amongst the warmth

Sunshine, I miss you
Always making me never feel so alone
Welcoming the clear skies
Towards a night's satisfaction
Bevy full of beautiful stars

Dreams seem always the greatest
With the sun's full day's welcoming
Hovering over these ambitions
Burning into the slumbering salvation
Of a new day's bright lit awakening

Darkness, you weaken me
The pain grows stronger each day
Fighting in my own imagination
For when the sun graced me with unconditional love

Digging deeper and deeper
For the strength I never knew existed before
Still hurt by the winters warning
The fall for which the sun weakens
In-between an autumn's decay

Struggling on
With the light deeply bestowed within me
I will survive as always
As my skin waits
The resurgence of the glorious sun

Days getting shorter
Must keep strong
The warmth must reside within this faith
So when the time comes
It feels even better than it has ever felt before

Warmth, oh how I miss you so!
