We Warned Poem by Randy McClave

We Warned

Rating: 5.0

We warned them, but our voices were ignored
Even after we begged and pleaded and implored,
We showed them documented facts and proof
They just laughed as though it was a joke or a spoof.
We told them to please listen to all the words spoken
But, they didn't care or just didn't want to be woken
Look at the adults and the children that have cried and still moan
But, they didn't care at all what was said or shown.
In from the mist the jets then all landed
The passengers came first class and not second handed,
Wearing diamonds, and drinking Vodka and rum
To America the North Koreans, and the Russians had come.
