Welsh Rain Poem by Rachel Henley

Welsh Rain

There are pebbles that call for you,
winds that muffle a roar of your name,
the ocean wades in your glorious image.
But I am one with you,
you are the welcome mat,
the photographs in the hallway.
You are the Welsh Rain,
sometimes, you are not always around,
but I bring an umbrella,
where ever I go,
cause I know you will come for me, soon.

You see me for what I am,
you love me even though I am not,
everything you desire,
but still, you give me all you got.

My pain in the backside,
don't ever leave,
my constant reminder,
that life ain't so bad.

I will put the ocean in my pocket,
and the sunshine in your bedside table,
I love you so,
I love you so,
oh I love you so.
