What a dream it is to be alive today
The morning light
And all the surrounding green beauty
And a sky that is beginning to deepen in color
And walking- just walking home now
from Shul suggests
The day ahead an adventure
What a dream it is to be alive today
Old as I am tired as I am disappointed as I am sad as I am
Worried as I am afraid as I am
What a dream is to be alive today
And forget who I am
In the brightness of the world opening its colors before me
