My child full of anguish and distrust, if I promise to always to stay would you then believe or mistrust? Will my ultimate sacrifice of my only son on the cross bring you down to your knees? Will your heart become that of stone? Does my love not surpass any of these intricacies or will your faith waiver by the invisible thing that you cannot see? Will my love sustain you in the midst of your pain? Or will you hold on steadfast to my promise or like a leaf blow in the direction of the wind? And when fear begins to enter because this destined to happen…. will your heart turn blue full of despair? And what if I told you that as you crumble just as clay, I would run right to your aid. I would sustain you and hold you in times of weakness and despair. My child, what if I told you that what I yearn for you most is to relieve you from your pain. That you are not hardened by all the painful memories that the past has brought you and continues to leave you numb and paralyzed with fear. Rather my desire is for you to be filled with a fire that re-awakens your soul. That you allow it to burn deep so that your heart is soften. To force you on your knees, in order to conform your heart and according to my will. Rather that internal closeness, one that has no boundaries to distance. It is infinite in time and place. But if I then extend my hand will you learn to trust?
Nice poem. You see, God speaks to us daily, it's up to man to distinguish between the various voices they hear... God bless you

A well articulated piece of poetry nicely penned with spiritual insight. FOR GOD SO LOVE THE WORLD THAT HE GAVE HIS ONLY BEGOTTEN SON THAT WHOEVER BELIEVES SHALL NOT PERISH BUT HAVE EVERLASTING LIFE. Faith keeps those that keep the faith. A lovely poem indeed. Thanks for sharing. Please read my poem MANDELA - THE IMMORTAL ICON.
