She hides in the corner,
in fear of the world.
She knows that her heart,
is ready to hold.
He thinks he isn’t good enough,
for what she needs.
He just wants to do something,
to make himself bleed.
She wants to be with him,
but he is not accepting her heart.
She feels like every word is a dagger,
tearing her apart.
He wants to feel loved,
in any which way,
But is not ready,
to give himself away.
She wants to love him,
he wants to love her,
but somehow this love,
is hard to concur.
They understand,
where they are at,
but now they’re afraid,
there’s no going back.
The world is in motion,
their heads are wheeling,
but somehow this poem,
Is What we are feeling.
