I’m awake, but dreaming.
Heart’s asleep. Brain’s scheming.
Lies buried beneath my tongue,
hiding hate for what you’ve become.
We’re dancing around open graves,
waiting to see who falls in first.
Starving for some salvation,
from the lies, our hunger and thirst.
Souls alike. Deep cutting.
Pain Craving. Flesh gluttony.
Smiling as a mask, an innocent one,
hiding you’re hate for what I’ve become.
We’re dancing around open graves,
waiting to see who falls in first.
Starving for some salvation,
from the lies, our hunger and thirst.
Why is it I’m so eager,
to be the first one to go,
to be forgotten, a lost memory,
just someone you don’t know?
We should say goodbye while we still can.
Dancing around open graves,
starving for some salvation,
striving to forget all their names.
Why is it I’m so eager,
to be the first one to go,
to be forgotten, a lost memory,
just someone you don’t know?
We should say goodbye while we still can.
