When all suns set where does the soul goes? A question the sages have asked from age old days! Does it blend with that eternal energy - since matter cannot be created or destroyed? ! Now the exponents of M-Theory speak of parallel universes floating in a 11- dimension hyper-space, where a replica of ours might exist, - a world where one may live on! God's mysteries to man are yet unknown! Thanks for your thought provoking poem! 10 + -Raj
The words and construction in here is pretty mesmerizing. I don't know how you've done this but I'm definitely a fan of it. (smile)
let all suns go down... let all moons perish......... light will be there provided you have that innerlight deep within sad none calls it the soul!
The phenomenon of perishing and where goes the soul, the question is put to the enlightened sage, his answer, still vague. Very nice composition with punctuation and poetics.10
Deeply philosophical and intriguing..............pleasure to read
an inspiring and enlightening.Am glad I was able to read your explanation. Nice is nice
You write of questions I used to ask in chapel as a boy, the answers I still ponder on. If all vanishes then we have a void, filled with the consciousness of all. Time stops at this waiting moment, a moment filled with everything. Kesav, your verse is beautiful your questions right. Thank you, I will now read the Upanishad you mentioned. Regards Bob
Quite enlightening one. We have have to keep on searching within ourselves.
It requires further explanation, i think... SOUL; yes...the fraction souls (jeevatmas) hide in the Infinite Soul (Param Atma) , that hides in Itself on Deluge...total darkness total vacuam total ignorance results... and likewise, for each jeevatma when it leaves mortal body It's more of philosophy more of science Ramabrahmam! Kesav
‘He sees through light conceived within Breathes vacuum concealed within He speaks through silence kept within He sleeps in shadows alien… Darkness his shade; He rests in peace Abides in Death, you learn O King! ’..... Thank you Kesav...you've questioned well and explained welll...it was my haste misunderstanding to grasp the last six lines in whole as the description of the sage...thanks again
Quite philosophical with spiritual message and antiquity.
This is really beautiful! Is this inspired from Katopanishad?
The question and its answer both are there in the poem itself. That was the state in the Beginning before Creation, before the so called Big Bang. And that would be the state in the End when deluge sets in. When the macro cosmic properties (causes) retreat one by one all micro cosmic attributes (effects) get dissolved into Darkness Vacuum Silence- know it as Death or Nothingness, as you like. The retreating Light may take all the Mass back into the Cosmic Energy. E= mc2 is reversible, my dear readers! Please read BrihadhArnyaka Upanishad- part of Yajur Veda- and the contemplations between Sage YAjnavAlkya and King Janaka elaborated there in a few chapters. it will teach you more on Modern Physics! Thanks Kesav Easwaran
'HE SPEAKS THROGH SILENCE KEPT WITHIN'...LOVELY POEM..THE WISDOM OF THE SAGE ENLIGHTENS US THROUGH YOU SIR...A BEAUTIFULLY FLOWING SPIRITUAL POEM...10
Your quest for the truth shows through the pertinent questions raised in this beautiful poem enhanced with the use of rich imagery...Thanks 10++
Very poignant, very thought provoking write, life was, is and shall be a deep mystery for long time to come and yet the philosphers and mystics of all ages have been investigating and trying to grasp it. Beautiful metaphores are used and reflect your insight and thirst for truth, beautiful work here, Kesav, love it!
there's a wonderful flow to this mighty theme...i agree with mr. bedi. answers to all these questions lurk within n we shd try to find them...
Great Poem. In one book Devajaan [chariot of God] by great Bibhtibhusan Bandopadya [in Bengali] described as according to Karmic state soul goes to different planes [lokas there are 7 lokas Bhu loka Du loka highest is Brahman Loka etc] and attains a body of Light… But scriptural concept speaks who is initiated [Mantra Diksha] by an Enlightened Guru after Guru’s final exit He stays in a plane from where He ‘up-pulls’ disciples and places at deserved plane [according to karmic sate] and finally takes all to merges with Brahman…till then Guru has no leave Thanks for sharing 10hf Ms. Nivedita UK
