When I Close My Eyes (Cavatina)
When I close my eyes you are right next to me,
but you are gone
when I awake and for some long moments
I am alone;
daily your sweet company brings me joy,
you are the one
whose absence brings the greatest kind of pain
but in my thoughts you constantly remain.
