When You Walk Among The Children Poem by Joshua Hudson

When You Walk Among The Children

When you walk among the children
Do you hear their silent cries
Do you see the unseen tears
That are falling from their eyes
Do you take the time to notice
Emotions they have hid
Do you let the children come to you
The way that Jesus did
When you walk among the children
Do you merely pass them by
Or meet them at their level
And see them eye to eye
And hold them with the love of Jesus
Calming all their fears
Hushing silent cries
And wiping unseen tears
